SOCIAL INNOVATION FOR NAPLES

The competition opens the opportunity for anyone to apply for one of 6 concrete challenges – which you can find attached – in order to win 10 000 Euros funding to test their idea in Naples working with local organizations. Concrete innovative project proposals have to be submitted. The aim of the competition is to prove that cooperation across borders and boundaries based on the real needs of people can provide new solutions which bring about positive social change.

A high level jury will announce the winners at an International Conference in Naples on 21st-23rd September.

The competition is receiving great international attention, including coverage in BusinessWeek, Guardian and Forbes. The closing date for entries has just been extended to Monday 15th August due to the high level of interest.

Fill in a questionnaire that requires you to give your personal data and describe your project: you will be required to summarize your innovative idea, give a timeline of implementation, explain how your idea differs from traditional approach, imagine the impact and possible obstacles to be encountered.
